Altec Lansing Octiv Mini

$60.00 Released June, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Compatible with all iPods as well as iPhones (shielded from interference). Compact space saving design. Affordable price point.

The Cons:AUX input might be removed on future revisions. Mono speaker only. Small size means bass quality will be lacking.

The Altec Lansing Octiv Mini is a small iPod speaker and dock. In an already crowded market the Mini sets itself apart from the others with it's unusual styling, it's not your usual square shape. The Octiv Mini boasts good performance relative to its speakers size.

Where to Buy

The Octiv Mini is one of the smaller iPod speakers that can be found and comes in an eye catching form factor which sets it apart from the crowds. In terms of features the speaker is fairly basic, it has an iPod dock which you can attach your iPhone or iPod to and play music through the system, whilst it charges your device. In addition to this Altec Lansing have released an application in conjunction with the speaker that allows you to use the speaker as an alarm when paired with the iPhone/iPod. The speaker is competitively priced but it is at the higher end of the market, especially for it's size.
