Alan Wake is a video game in development for Xbox 360 and PC, to be released in Spring 2010. Previewed at E3 2009, it places the player in the role of Alan Wake, a best-selling suspense/mystery writer, in what promises to be an innovative psychological thriller from Remedy Entertainment, the studio behind the Max Payne series.

Product Shot 2 Wake moves to a seemingly peaceful community called Bright Falls, when his wife disappears and he is pulled into a grim world of nightmarish enemies in which light becomes a central ally and weapon. The player seeks to wake from the sinister dreamscape that brings to life the darkest inventions of Alan Wake's literary imagination.
